The designer acquired a range of antique hotel silverware, from serving dishes to napkin rings.
More than 50 pieces of antique hotel silver are showcased to evoke the room’s rich past. A copper-rose paint was chosen for the interior of the cabinets to complement this set, while the glass doors allow the silver to shine through.
The butler's pantry is now a destination room for entertaining guests in an informal manner.
Overlooking a small courtyard, the room receives natural light from a large window. Handmade “silvered-linen†Roman shades were carefully selected as the window treatment to filter light and illuminate the candle-colored walls. In addition to the natural light, a 19th-century French brass chandelier serves as a centerpiece. A small crystal chandelier hanging above the sink refracts light while adding glamour.
The deep, oval-shaped, metal hammered sink is an original fixture of the room.
