Now that we have crowned the top flea market of the west coast, we look towards the east where one of the most highly acclaimed flea markets is…
The Brooklyn Flea
In just its fifth year of operation, the Brooklyn Flea has become one of New York City’s top attractions. Two weekly markets operate all year long, bringing tourists and NYC natives hundreds of vendors selling a mix of antiques and restored furniture, plus a finely curated collection of jewelry and art. During the winter months, the markets move indoors to the historical landmark, the former Williamsburg Savings Bank, which adds to the overall antiquing experience.
Where: The Brooklyn Flea has two locations, one in the neighborhood of Fort Greene and the other in Williamsburg, New York. The Fort Greene market is located at 176 Lafayette Avenue between Clermont & Vanderbilt Avenue. The Williamsburg market is located in East River State Park at 90 Kent Avenue. During the winter months, the market goes indoors at Skylight One Hanson in Fort Greene.
When: The flea is every Saturday in Fort Greene and every Sunday in Williamsburg from 10am-5pm from April through November. See above for winter location.
