Building Better Sleep Nectar Bed Warrantee

With their headquarters in Palo Alto, California, Nectar Sleep is a mattress and bedding firm that designed the Nectar Mattress as their flagship memory foam mattress.

Nectar Sleep has three mattresses with different profiles: The Nectar, which has a 12” profile; the Nectar Premier, which has a 13” profile; and the Nectar Premier Copper, which has a 14” profile. And as mentioned earlier it is a three-layer, all-foam bed. It consists of a quilted cover and breathable base later, with the three layers of foam between: gel-infused memory foam, support memory foam, and high-density polyfoam. Remember, the thickness isn’t everything, so it’s good to dive into the different parts of the mattress.

Let’s dig into every facet, shall we?

The Duvet

Removable and wash friendly, the cover is made from TENCEL lyocell and cotton. You get a soft feel on your body thanks to the fairly breathable and nice to the touch components of the mattress.

The Layer for Comfort

Helping you distribute your weight for a more comfy sleep, Nectar Mattress has two layers that prioritize comfort and proper sleep posture.

The first layer is a 1-inch top layer that’s made from quilted memory foam using a 4PCF Density, while the next layer is 3 inches and is made of 3.5PCF gel memory foam. They were designed this way so that when you sleep on it, it seems like its hugging your body. This is turn helps stops pressure points from building up, helps handle bodily aches, and can help improve spinal alignment for side sleepers.

Transitional Layer

For the transitional layer, it’s a high-density memory foam which measures about 1.75 inches rather than the usual polyfoam other mattresses have. This improvement of the foam enhances the way the mattress hugs against your body without sagging too much.

Support Layer

And finally, the support core. Along with the transitional layer, the polyfoam base gives the mattress a firmer foundation for the softer comfort layers. Because of this, you receive a balanced, medium-firm sense without undermining the support of the mattress as a whole.

How Does It Feel?

Taking it out for a spin — or rather, for a sleep — takes a while right from the box. We suggest you purchase it in the morning and begin setting up hours before sleeping since it will take precisely that, hours before it’ll expand and reach its full height.

Like a fine wine, it first needs to breathe. Nectar Bed Warrantee

After letting it rest out of the box for a few hours, lying down after a long day of impatiently waiting, you will feel a soft embrace start to surround you. It has a deep embrace feeling to it that people who love sleeping “in” a bed instead of “on” it will really enjoy this one.

The mattress’ firmness can be described as medium, not too tough, not to soft, it feels perfectly balanced. A 6/10 if ever. Firmness though is quite subjective, dependent not only on your taste, but also in your physicality. If you’re a bit on the lighter side, this may feel a bit more firm to you than others would.

It’s All About Positioning

Just how does the Nectar mattress feel, depending on what position you sleep in.

If you are a back sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress will feel fantastic for you. It gives you the support you need while keeping your spine in a nice neutral position. Your lumbar area however may need extra support, if it sinks a bit deeper but it’s terrific for back sleepers.

For side sleepers, the memory foam’s conforms itself which allows your shoulders and hips to feel relief as you shift your weight down. This mattress is a perfect option for side sleepers as the uniform pressure release of the bed counters the adverse effects side sleeping might have.

Stomach sleepers may not choose this mattress. You’ll certainly feel a sink into your abdomen area with this position, and you’ll have to be very careful with this because it might affect your body adversely over time. For those who sleep on their stomachs, we recommend that you opt for a mattress that is harder than this one as it may lead to adverse effects.

Couples will enjoy the bed a lot. Apart from being spacious enough to hold both of your comfortable, moving around and changing positions won’t be as bothersome with your spouse due to its movement isolation and edge support. Nectar Bed Warrantee

Body Types for Nectar

For a more comprehensive breakdown, we are going to be getting into body types and how different body types respond differently to the Nectar Mattress.

The Lightweight Sleeper

As expected, a light sleeper will find the Nectar to be tough on the body. They still experienced the “hugging” sensation, but it was not a very deep one. The experience can be described as a sort of “floating” feel to it. Usually, such sleepers require a soft to firm bed if they need that deep body hug.

But if you’re a light sleeper and you’re looking for a firm mattress which still has a bit of that hugging feel, then the Nectar Mattress will be great.

The Average Sleeper

The ordinary sleeper thought that the Nectar mattress was exactly as advertised — firm with a deep, supportive feel that lets you sink in just enough, without it feeling like you’re falling into the bed. They felt that it was a good product because no sagging was felt, the body relief it provided after a long day was great regardless of which sleeping position they went to bed in.

Heavy Sleepers

Although still quite supportive, the Nectar Mattress was for those heavy sleepers who wanted something with moderate stability. There’ll be a bit of sagging when the mattress starts to hug and shape around heavyweight sleepers, but other than that, if this firmness is your preference, it is a great pick.

The Sleep Test

Although we tried to cover as much as we can with our reviewwe know actually having the ability to feel the mattress for yourself, giving it a real test is the best way to determine if it’s for you. We can only act as a guide since, at the end of the day, it is all about your own preference.

Your right mix of what you want and want to feel every evening.

As such, there are generally 90 to 120-day sleep trials for most mattresses. Nectar desired to one-up that, and provides a 365 day evaluation period before fully committing to it. Consider it as dating your mattress long term before proposing, as opposed to popping the question after 3 or 4 weeks.

It’s a wonderful comfort to know that option is there, just in case of anything.
